Time will Tell:
In late 2019, blissfully unaware to the wrath Covid would deliver to the planet, I had an encounter that would alter my sense of self in the world. Through Ancestry.com I connected with my birth cousin. As I was adopted as an infant, I spent my entire life processing the journey of self-identity without meaningful knowledge of my birth heritage. My voyage received an unexpected upgrade a few months before making this recording when I finally met my birth mother. I didn’t know if or how I might express this life-altering encounter, but this recording reflects part of my quest navigating the mixed emotions associated with this identity paradox. How we move through life, and the lives we will touch, is unknown to us, despite our best efforts to chart a path.
