Pianist/composer Andy Milne has been an active educator for over two decades. In 2018 he became a Full-Time Assistant Professor of Music at The University of Michigan. For seventeen years he was as a Part-Time Assistant Professor at The New School of Jazz – College of Performing Arts and for ten years at New York University. Milne is the assistant director of The School for Improvisational Music and has also been a professor at Columbia University. He has conducted master-classes throughout the world and has been a frequent faculty mentor at The Banff Centre.
