His past commissions include, The John Coltrane: Legacy for Orchestra project, The Collingwood Music Festival, The Banff International String Quartet Competition, and The Ottawa Jazz Festival. Milne is currently creating a new orchestral work commissioned by The Canadian Opera Company.
